President
Neighborhood Bible Studies
Mary Schaller has spent more than 25 years of her adult life as an entrepreneur starting several high tech companies as well as new community/church initiatives. Seven years ago, she enrolled in Fuller Theological Seminary and began a seeker small group in her Portola Valley, California home. This group was life changing as she saw friends of hers begin a relationship with Jesus. These activities culminated in a passion for effectively reaching those that don’t know Jesus (outside our church doors) with small groups for spiritual seekers. In the last two years she finished her Masters in Divinity. God has furthered her outreach work by enabling her to launch and support hundreds of seeker small group leaders in the San Francisco bay area by a partnership with Garry Poole. She has recently been hired as president of Neighborhood Bible Studies (NBS), a 48 year old outreach ministry, with a new vision to reinvigorate NBS with a more expansive outreach/discipleship strategy incorporating seeker small groups in partnership with Garry.
