Jay Johnston is director of Evangelism and Discipleship at LifeWay Christian Resources. Jay gives leadership to pastors and church leaders to equip people to live the Great Commission. He has written for Christian Single, the Sunday School Leader, LeaderLife, Believe, and two books Forward Together for senior adult ministry and Teaching the Jesus Way. He frequently preaches and teaches on Evangelism, Discipleship, Family and Sunday school topics. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Johnston received a B.S. from Louisiana College. He received a M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is completing a D.MIN at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
